yea man i just read that.... i totally think they are going over the top on him, its a game and hes just a kid, if they treat their community likes this i cant see anyone else wanting to join it.

Well, as I see it the kid was kind of a dumbass to do that, at the very least for the sake of self preservation. But that isn't to say that they should just throw a hissy fit about it and ban him. I'm sure if they just talked to him there would be a much better solution than the kind of shit they stirred up with a ban.
